Founder H.R. Vyncke of the family business INGENIUM deceased

Sad but grateful we report the death on 29-12-2018 of Herwig Vyncke (°25-04-1941), a socially moved Flemish engineer.

He was the founder of INGENIUM nv, an engineering firm specialising in advice on sustainable buildings.

With his holistic approach he aimed to build a bridge between the skills of the engineers and the harmony of the studied environment.

He was strongly aware of the finiteness of resources and sought solutions to ensure future generations perspective. Sustainability is therefore in INGENIUM's DNA.

He always strived for added value for employees and customers.

He led INGENIUM for 38 years, before coaching his family successor in a management role from 2006.

Under his inspiring and energetic leadership, INGENIUM grew into a leading player in the Flemish construction world.

Family, employees and friends are grateful to him for everything he has meant.
