Forensic Psychiatric Center - maintenance

The Government built a new forensic psychiatric centre at Gent. Ingenium was charged with the design and guidance for the execution of the technical equipment.

The Government plans built a new forensic psychiatric centre at Gent. This FPC with a gross floor area of some 30,000 m² provides accommodation for 272 high-risk inmates. The centre provides for a gradual approach and treatment, going from high care (when the individual is taken into custody) to low care (in preparation of his possible return to society). Ingenium wass charged with the design and monitoring of the execution of the technical equipment of this centre. Besides the standard techniques, security provisions are very high on the list. Also the newest energy saving techniquesfind their place in the design
