Energy Management Ministry of the Flemish Community

To set an example for the Kyoto objective, the  Flemish Government decided to  perform a study on energy management for its largest and most energy consuming public buildings.

Ingenium started an energy bookkeeping system for a total of 250 public buildings. In addition, energy audits were performed for 105 large public buildings (including museums, concert halls, office buildings, research centres, accommodation centres, etc.), resulting to the definition of the principal energy saving measures and investments.

In connection to this study, Ingenium provided guidance for the execution of some energy saving projects. In particular, Ingenium established standard specifications for maintenance of the HVAC systems.
