The development project Gent The Loop is a Public Private Cooperation between several parties. The project concerns the realisation of offices and similar buildings, retail, leisure and housing for short and long term occupation. A total program of 550,000 m² gross floor area on top of the existing buildings of Flanders Expo Artexis and the Holiday Inn will be realised.

A study with a global plan for sustainability for The Loop investigates the possibilities. An energy masterplan examines the possibilities at building and at site level an how to realise these within the economical en operational conditions of the project.
