Energy plan airport Zaventem BIAC

Ingenium has been charged by BIAC (Brussels International Airport Company) to establish the energy plan for the airport of Zaventem.

Ingenium has been charged by BIAC (Brussels International Airport Company) to establish the energy plan for the airport of Zaventem. This was done in collaboration with Cenerpro. The energy plan comprises the analysis of the heat production and the heat distribution network for the two central boiler rooms (60 MW and 35 MW). In addition, energy saving measures were identified and quantified for all airport buildings managed by BIAC, in accordance with the provisions of the Energy Plan Decree. The Energy Plan was declared compliant by the Flemish Energy Agency (Vlaamse Energieagentschap – VEA).

In 2010, the energy plan was updated.  This update was again a successful cooperation between Ingenium and Cenerpro.  The commissioner for this update was the Brussels Airport Company, previously known as BIAC.
