Ghelamco - Arenahotel Gent

This assignment includes the study for the electrical, HVAC and sanitary installation for a hotel.

This hotel has an underground car park (level -1) for approximately 300 cars.
In total there are 205 ordinary hotel rooms and 62 large rooms for long stays.
The building is 10 storeys high and is divided as follows:

• - Level 0: Lobby (500m²), party room 150 persons (500m²), storage kitchen, warehouse, bar, shop, restaurant/breakfast room.
• - Level 1: Offices, conference rooms, multifunctional room (600m²), dining room, kitchen, staff rooms, fitness, large roof terrace
• - Level 2 to level 10: Hotel rooms

Technical installation:

• - 2 x 500kW boiler
• - 1 x ice water chiller monoblock of 319kW cooling capacity
• - 1 x heat pump 4-pipe monoblock with 350kW cooling capacity and 446kW heating capacity.
• - 6 x air group with a total flow rate of 61,290m³/h
• - 1 x pulse and extraction group of 8,000m³/h for the kitchen
• - 4 x pressure relief system in stairwell of 11,000m³/h each
