Energy audit of office building VOKA Kortrijk

INGENIUM, by order of VOKA, performed an energy audit with a future-oriented vision for the office building "Villa Voka" in Kortrijk (built in 2009).

This took into account a vision of the future to which the building can best evolve in 2030.

Because no fossil fuels are consumed locally in this "all electric" building, important steps have already been taken towards climate neutrality. We examine the feasibility of evolving over time (2030 - 2050) into an innovative climate neutral building that can serve as an example in Flanders and beyond.

This vision was further elaborated in the energy audit.

The audit paid attention to control of the technical installations for HVAC and lighting, solar panels, charging infrastructure for electric cars, improvements to the thermal performance of the facade, etc.

After the audit, INGENIUM further assisted VOKA with technical advice and design for effective realization of a solar panel installation and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
